Building a City of Changemakers

Building on the Global Citizenship Education pilot project, Helen is leading an Advanced grant, awarded by UKRI, for a further collaboration with One World Together.

The 12-month project - Building a City of Changemakers: Scaling up the Next Generation for Change (2026-ongoing) - includes three core strands of work that come together to deepen understanding of what it takes to build a city of changemakers. The project includes exciting collaborations with Manchester Museum and the world’s leading changemaking organisation, Ashoka. Within this project, Helen works alongside various teachers and teacher changemaker fellows, and Niki Banks and Rob Bowden of the University of Manchester and One World Together.
